The oldest Puerto Rican and Latinx publication that deals with student issues with a focus on Puerto Rican and Latinas/os
Que Ondee Sola (QOS) was established in 1972 and remains the oldest Puerto Rican and Latinx university student publication in the United States. Our mission is to provide the Northeastern Illinois University community with a relevant and engaging publication that deals with student issues with a focus on Puerto Rican and Latinas/os, our communities and our patrias.
Que Ondee Sola continues to affirm the right of Puerto Rican self-determination, freedom for all Puerto Rican political prisoners, and support for a truly participatory democracy.
Responsibility for the contents of Que Ondee Sola lies solely with the student staff.
Currently, Que Ondee Sola is primarily online. Under normal circumstances, it is published during the fall and spring semesters.
To submit feedback, suggestions or contributions, or if you’re a student interested in joining the QOS team, please email queondeesolamag@gmail.com.
